Just Men is an outreach and mentoring program that focuses on unity and diversity through educational seminars, symposiums, broadcast interviews, conferences and clinics, to empower, encourage, enlighten, and inspire toward Greatness and Love.

LIMITED ATTENDANCE CAPACITY NOTICE: Once maximum capacity has been met (possibly before the July 1st deadline), the registration period will be closed, and applications will no longer be accepted to attend the BEC.

Basketball Empowerment Clinic (BEC).


BEC’s Mission is designed to teach and mentor Youths through the fundamentals and discipline of basketball while embracing the Godly principles of Character, Authentic Integrity, and a Joyful Attitude that fosters Life and Leadership skills, Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Faith, and Love.

In addition to attending the BEC Clinic, participants will be enrolled into a mentoring program that further fortifies the building of resilient leadership and faith-based principles that are fundamentally learned and practiced at the clinic.

“TO THE LONSDALE COMMUNITY”

During the 2026 Lonsdale Annual Reunion, the BEC will hold a 2-Day “Comprehensive” basketball clinic on Friday, August 7th and Saturday August 8th, at the Emerald Youth Foundation located @ 1014 Heiskell Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921.  The participant fee is $20 per session.

BEC Sessions will be presented as follows:


*First Day – August 7th:
 

Part I – Fundamental Skills and Development Session:
Open to Boys and Girls Grades 3 to 5 from 8am to 12N 
(Maximum Attendance 32)

 

Part II – Fundamental Skills and Development Session:
Open to Boys and Girls Grades 6 to 8 from 1pm to 5pm
(Maximum Attendance 32)

 

 *Second Day – August 8th: 

 

Part I – Fundamental Skills and Development Session:
Open to Boys and Girls Grades 9 to 12 from 8am to 12N
(Maximum Attendance 32)

 

Part II – Advanced Skills and Development Session:
Open to Boys and Girls Grades 6 to 12 from 1pm to 5pm
(Maximum Attendance 40)
